SCAT tool for G/L

Hi ,

Can u please help me in creating a tool with all the fields for G/L account in tool..

I tried to create , but when i am uploading it , i am getting an error "no batch input for the screen.............."

The issue that you are having is because there is a field that you are trying to pass and the same does not exist in the screen from the recording. The GL accounts will have different screens based on the Account group it is created under. So the same fields might not be relevant for all GL accounts(just a thought, may be in your implementation the same fields are relevant!!).

Please check your file again for that particular field for which you are getting the error. Let me know if it was helpful.

thanks for response..

See i want to create a scat tool , where all the fields of the G/L account gets captured.. but as u know if the G/L account is reconcillation account u cannot select post automatically ..

So i want a solution wherein I can select all the fields in one tool ...

Hi,

If you have only one file for all your G/L accounts, I'd suggest using LSMW where you can easily define the conditions whether certain field should be taken or not. You can do it in CATT also, but it's more complicated.

But I want to know how to use the CATT if it is complicated... Please help me to know the process.

Hi,

You will have to write some ABAP. Alternatively, you can create several files (for each account group) and 'record' only the fields that are relevant for the group.
