hi all

i am using kso2 for extending cost center period

like from kso2

constere number 500012

from menu button i have selected edit--> analysis period

slected another analysis period.

while changing the period i got the following error

New analysis period must not exceed maximum period limit

Message no. KS023

Diagnosis

You selected an analysis period extending beyond the period for which

the object was defined. This is not allowed in the change or display

functions.

Procedure

Use an analysis period within the period for which the object has been

defined.

You can derive this period from the suggested "From/To" values in this

screen.

Hi

You can't change the maximum period.

Ex at present you have period of 01.01.2007 to 31.12.9999 and you can chnage the new analysis period from 11.09.2008 to 31.12.9999.

you have not posted any entries, you can delete the cost center with the tcode KS04 and recreate the cost center with the same number but the different date with tcode KS01. Let me know if it worked.
