Dear experts,
I am new to XI.I am creating one interface i.e File to RFC.Here I need to send the file data from the file server to R/3.I don'y require any response from R/3 to file server.Just I have to send the file data to R/3.
Can u suggest me ur possible inputs.
Correct answers will be awarded.
Regards.
Hi,
U need to create Data type corresponding to.input file.
Create Message Type.
Create Outbound Interface from above Mapping
U dont need to created Data type, Message Type & Interface for RFC........... Just import RFC in IR.
Now do Message Mapping Between Sender Message Type & RFC
Create Interface Mapping.
I hope u knw ID part( Sender Business Service, Receiver Business System(of ur SAP), sender file adapter, receiver RFC adapter, receiver determination, Interface Determination, Sender Agreement & Receiver Agreement)
Thanks,
Mahi

Hi ,
It seems ur requirement is quite simple one and it is asynchronus scenario.
Just create
In IR:
1.File DataType,MsgType
2.Import ur RFC in to IR first & by selecting ur SWcomp version u will find a option over there.
3. Perform message mapping between ur file MsgType and
RFC request MsgType.
4.Remainig steps as it is i.e Interfacemapping.
In ID:
1.Create comm channels under ur Bsystems.
2.For second CChaneel select adapter type as RFC
and enter CC parameters over there.
3.Sender agreement
4.Receiver agreement
5.Receiver Determination
6.Interface Determination

Vinod.

Hi,
If you want to Interface to SAP R/3 system:
1) You can post the Data from file to RFC without expecting the response.
2)For this You need to select the appropriate RFC.......In this case You should be in a state to knwon whether the data is reached SAP r/3 or not .
3) You can proceed In one patterns where in the File server#1 Send the data to SAP R/3 And the response from this is posted to FIle server #2 one more business system in order to track the working of your scanario.

Hi
For ssending data to R/3 and no response is needed then it's a asynchronous scenario.
you can refer the below mentioned links for scenario.
