Standard cost

Hi Frndzzz,

In Material Master under the accounting view

standard cost is maintained for all the materials

except for two material types(Production &

Non production). wht will be the cost maintained

for this two material types.

Plz explain me clearly.

hi,

u can give V for these materil types as it is not standard price. the production cost is calculated after production and u can give as V in accounting view of MMR.

Hi,

If the cost of material is varying when compared to at the time of PO creatoin, GR & Invoice then maintain variable cost. If the cost of is fixed then maintain standard cost.

Go to OMS2 Material types and Try to Identify what Price Control is Set there.

You can Enter the Standard / MAP (It Depends on your requirement) in Material Master Accounting View.

If you Keep Accounting View blank in Material Master then System wont allow to CreatePurchase Order.

Hi,

In the accounting view the price indicator is compulsory to be entered. you can enter or if u dont want to enter also the material master will be saved.

When you are doing a PO what ever price you give it wil be saved in the MMR.
