Dear Friends,

During posting of the goods from T-Code MIGO, I ogt an error that

The material belongs to a material type whose stocks are not managed on a quantity basis.

Please help.

Dear Abhishek

Go to OMS2, select the material type and click on Quantity/Value updating. Check whether the box for Qty updating is checked. It should have been checked there.

Hi,

This message is also obtained if you post goods (MIGO) without reference to any PO document using the Movement Type 501, if you forget to enter the material number.
