Hi,

Question:

What are the configuration of SAP Console Management?

How can i restore my COnsole back to the Defined configs .

Solution:

Proceed as follows:

Open you MMC console.

Goto file-->ADD/Remove snap-in

Click on ADD

Choose SAP Systems Manager

Again Click on ADD

Click Next

Now give system number(that will be last two number of your system IP e.g: in case your IP is 10.1.1.44 then your system number will be 44)You can also check that from the SAP GUI logon pad if you have added it there previously)

Now give instance number:that you can find in user/SAP drive>E:\usr\sap\SID>there you can find your instance number DEVBMGSXX:where XX is your instance number.

systax is <hostname><instance number> example say: sapsandbox20

Now open you MMC. You will be able to find the tree structure and you can start it.

Hi,

You have given a wrong system id.Your system id is a three letter id like

DEV - For develoment system

you can find your system id in the sap logon pad also if yiou have added that system to logon pad previously.

Hi,

I mentioned DEV for an example

You can find your exact system id at o/s level

follow directoru usr/sap under that there will be a sub-directory with three letter in capitals

That will be your system id.

Also do below check.

check if SAPserviceSID service is running or not

if this server fails MMC will not show

Again start as suggested fron add snap in

Hi,

open services console select the service SAPOSCOL

and right click and properties and if startup type is not automatic then change it to automatic.then click on log on select this account and give .\sidadm and give password for sidadm and repeat password.

Repeat the same process for SAPsid_00

( It look like your SID is SAI that i know from this string SAPSAI_00 )

Ashok
