Material BOM

Hi Friends,

We are facing one BOM related problem,

We have two Material BOMs(1035NA &1035 NB) lost month we are deleted TYRE component from BOM (Confirmed from CS03) but while doing Standard cost estimation (CK11N) system is capturing the tyre cost.

But the same is correct in case of 1035NB(System doesnu2019t capture tyre cost).

Can you help in understanding n what could be the reason for same.

Dear Purna,

Check out this,

If you are using ECN - Engineering Change number for changing the BOM's,check its valid from date (for

the Change Number).Becuase if you are using a Change number which's valid from 25.09.2008,then if you

use this Change number for deleting or making any BOM changes,then the changes made will be effective

from 25.09.2008,even if you have made it today.

So in CK11N,if the Quantity structure date,Valuation date & costing date from if its going to be between

from today's date to 24.09.2008,the system wont consider the changes that are made.

Moreover if you are using a Change number with release key,then check whether the release key is set for

the change number in CC03.

Take the help of your PP team and try to solve the issue.

Revert back if you need any further assistance.

Justnow i will check in CC03 Transaction code,here Release key shows 0( meens it not be relase)

Now we make it 1(Global release).

I Think this is the soluation..

What you have said is correct.

After setting the release key,check in CK11N and confirm.

While running CK11n check the Quantity structure date...if its correct date (the date after you have changed the bom).
