Unicode fonts and printing

Hi,

To enable pure Unicode printing with UFT8 device types it is needed to use Unicode fonts. Is somebody aware if there are more than one R/3 Unicode font available? In WAS 6.20 there is only font called Andale which is Unicode font.

Jarmo

Thanks for the link Eddy.

Have you heard about Unicode fonts for SAP? So far I have found fonts only for Windows and Unix. Instead of using SAPLPD server and SAPWIN device types we would like to use UTF8 device types and external output management system (HPOS / Dazel).

Hi Jarmo,

interesting question...

In SAP standard WAS 6.20 I'd agree with you regarding Andale. For sure you (or third parties) are able to create your own fonds in R/3.

Let's see what the experts of SDN are saying. I'll also watch your post.
