Can we create a table without data element?

Hi Kishore,
In SE11, in the component tab, choose pre-defined type.
Click on Predefined Type button to give the data type and length.

Ya ,
we can create using the predefined types ,
---> after giving the field name in the table
-
> select the button predefined type
.----> then the dataelement field will be disabled and data type , lengths and short description fields will be enabled
-
> there you can enter your required characterstics of your field
-
> save and activate your table
But the problem is that you cannot create foreign key relationship for that table based on that field

Hi,
Yes u can create table without data element.
In that case in place of Data element u need to specify the Predefined type.
Enter the name of field and the press on Built-In type button. This will disable the data element entry fields and enable the Built-in type field where in u can put the predefined type like CHAR, INT1 etc.
