Hi experts,

Can u plz help me with search help . i wnat search help for vbak-auart field. how to put the search help from se11.plz help me with the procedure.

thnxs for the reply. how to display the search help.for VBAK-AUART as u said its already there.

and for the field VBRK-FKART. is there any search help .

for that also there..

it is H_TVFK

go to se11 , and go to table VBAK there you can find the search helps for fields.

if you want to use it inside a report program then use it with the help of match code object addition.

if it is for screen then you need to add this search help in the search help option of the screen fields attributes popup.

hi,

here is the procedure

se11===>click on search help radiobutton===>give some name===.>press create

===>then select elmentry search help====>press enter==>give table name in selection method and field name in search help parameter then tick INP EXP and give 1 value to both lpos spos===>then save and activate===>then double click on table name it will take u to that table select that field on which u want search help

===> press search help tab ====> then copy

HI Sunita ,

For Creating your own search as per your requirement the procedure for the same is as follows : ---

First goto Transaction SE11 .

From the bottom Second Last Option is for the Search Help . Click on the Radio Button and give any name of the Search help which has to be created .

Press Create .

You Will recieve a popup giving two options for the same

i) Elementary Search Help .

ii) Collective Search Help.

Click on Elemantary Search Help .

Please give the Description as desired for the same .

In the Left hand side of the Screen you will find a label Data Collection

Below that you will find a field Selection method : Give the Table name as VBAK

once you had done that

Come down to the paramaters and mention the field name of that table and also mention the data element in the field data element .

Click on the check box IMP and EXP and in LPOS & SPOS give 1 1

once done activate the same you will get your search help .
