Error determining planning periods for calendar 007 (message no. 61123)

Hello Friends,

While using the planning calendar for planning of raw material, i am getting the error message " error determining planning periods for calendar 007 (message no. 61123).

Diagnosis:The system couldn't determine sufficient planning periods by the planning calendar to group reqmts by planning calendar periods for all the requirements planned the future.

I have maintained the following settings.

I have kept MRP Type for Raw material as PD and lot sizing procedure as PK and have maintained planning calendar 007in MRP 2 View of Raw material , material master.

While creating the planning calendar 007,i have selected the calculation rule as Weeks (week days) and valid from 04.09.2008 and Valid To 10.12.2008.With this i have maintained Thursday as Period begin on the following week days.

Now when i check the periods it shows following periods

Periods

From date Period To Week

04.09.2008 10.09.2008

11.09.2008 17.09.2008

18.09.2008 24.09.2008

and so on upto 10.12.2008

Now i have given planned independent reqmt of finished material on 23.09.2008 of 20 qty, 26.09.08 of 20 qty and 29.09.08 of qty 20

Since i have defined the suitable periods than also system is giving me above error.

Help me in finding the problem.Thanking you.

Dear,

what is the processing time for 20 qty...it may be crossing 10.12.2008..that is why system is giving the problem..maintain the correct end date then it should be okay.

You need to consider the planning horizon of the plant (T399D-PLAHZ in work days). Basically end date of calendar T439G-DATUB must not be less than TODAY + PLAHZ

Hi,

Please check the validity period of the calender in and holidy calender also?

Check your planning horizon also in OPPR?
