Transfer an employee from one company code to another

How to transfer an employee from one company code to another? If both the company codes are in same client.

Hi,

Position is interlinked with Personal Area and Personal Sub Area. Through PA40 you can use Action Change in Position there you can Assign P.No to Position and in which personal area and sub area P.No belongs to.

I hope you know how Enterprise Structure is integrated with Org. Structure.

or u can terminate that ee in current company and hire in other company code

You can run transfer action for that employee (PA40)

no need to terminate and rehire with new emp code

You should also check your features LEAVE ane ENTRY - to make sure they are set up to handle change of legal person as a leave in one company and entry in the next. Not completely sure of details, but I know this is an issue.

Its seems to work with just an Organization Reassignment Action. I was scared when one our Sr. HR Consultant told me that you need to do a lot of changes related to finance and need ABAP development. I think he was just bluffing.
