Upgrade Oracle 10g 10.2.0.2 to 10.2.0.4

Hi,

Is there anybody there, who upgrades Oracle 10g 10.2.0.2 to 10.2.0.4.

May I know where did you download and how you did it as I check the SAP Note 1137346, there is before and after upgrade but nothing about the upgrade process and I can't file the upgrade file as well.

P.S.: Our OS is Windows 2003 and we are running NW2004s , EP7.

-> Oracle 10.2.0.4 -> Database RDBMS -> Your OS

Note that still is not available for Itanium (MS Windows Itanium (64-bit))

The instructions to install any patch set can be found on the patch ser (README file)

Hi Fidel,

Under tha path that you mentioned thare are 4 files for MS Windows x86-64(64-bit)I 10204_Patch5_MSWIN-x86-64.zip and 3 other patch setes , when I check the read me file in the zip file it says "10.2.0.4 Patch 5 must be applied on top of the 10.2.0.4 base release" and I can't find any other file there.

Is there anything that I'm missing?

The patch set is too big to be uploaded in one file.

It is splited in smaller files.

You have to put them together.

That is explained in the SAP note

Thanks alot for your help.

Just a question, after I did the upgrade when I try to connect to

host:1158/em, it just show me some smal boxes as characters, it seems wrong languaage setting, do you have any idea ,why?
