Hi Experts, i am just trying to use fulltext search for DMS. TRex is installed and connected by RFC. In Transaction TREXADMIN i can choose this rfc connection an active Services on Service Tab. When performin a serch in Search Tab by using field Full text search it only lists all Dokuments that have the search string in description. Performing Full Text search in cv04n does not list any dokuments. Message: No dokument found with these selection parameters.

In Transaction SES_ADMIN there are 5408 Objects for Business Object "DRAW"

What else has to be done?

should show OK Server Connection 1.001

The port number most likely probably you have used I have given, pls check from basis what port he has used,

Hi,

In SKPR07, Create DMS index category, for document class DMS_PCD1, language EN.

Click on Re- Index it will create DMS index category. Verify it under Index category. You will able to see index category ID created for DMS Kpro documents.

hi,

Follow the step as mentioned previously, the system will automatically create DMS index category, if you click on Re- Index. Use SKPR07.

(Without this category it will not search within original files)

Once system creates index category, verify it in index category tab. It should show that index category ID created, description - generated by Kpro DMS.

Okay, i tried like that, but no Index Category is created... .

The root problem is system is not able to create index DMS category.

Postinstall Steps seem to be all done. When i look into the Logs in skpr07 i find an error:

Index category could not be created: Exeption 8 (means RFC-Destination) But i tested RFC-Dest in SM59 and in SRMO both are okay... . Why is System not able to create Indexcategory???

Can you please verify in trexadmin the RFC destination created in SM59 and confirm everything is all green under services.
