ECL viewer Installing

Hi Experts,

I would like to know;

whether ECL is installed on individual PCs or it can be uploaded on server.

Dear Pramod,

u have to install ECL viewer on individual system. for installation of ECL VIEWER latest JAVA package should be updated on ur system.

The steps are as Follows:

1.First install ECL viewer on ur system.

2. then copy all all files in to java folder under program files.

Hi Amit/sunny,

can you please clarify, whether its sepearte instalation or its alongwith SAP. If i would like to give ECL view for some selected users only then how to do it.

hi,

it is seperate installation. after sap installation u can do this and as i told u, u can do the installation on seperate system. it is not user specific. it is an application .

Hi Pramod,

ECL viewer you have to install individual PC wise. When you install SAP-GUI it install ECL viewer also.

Current latest version of ECL viewer is 6.0. For further help please see the note: 1055006 & 1177883.
