Hi,
We have completed the development for PI objects and ready for transport. Now in Dev we have configured the system which are development specific ( SAP Dev, 3rd party dev). When we will move them to Test, these BS would not be applicable . Same is the case with production,.
How to handle this situation? Shall we move IR objects in Test & production only and than manually create the ID objects ( BS & agreements there) or we should import all the BS ( including production ) in Dev and create everything in Dev box and than transport to Production
Also we are on PI 7.1 and i think in this, every box ( Dev, Test & PRD) as its own SLD.
What is best strategy for the transport of ID objects.
Regards,
Hi,
If the SLD are totally different, the best way is to create all necessary Business systems and finally export it from dev and upload it into test or production.
My best advice would be to do it interface by interface so that u have control on the changes and can track the missing ones easily.

For transporting the business system u can follow the below methods so once u do that when u import the configuration objects bydefault ur BS with the QA system name will be reflected automatically.
Transport mechanism
1. Create Technical System and Business Systems for the QA system.
2. Create Transport Groups in the Business System.
3. Create Transport Targets in the Source Business SYstem.
