Is IDM compatible with the new version of Active Directory 2008? I can't find this information anywhere. My guess is yes, since it's just connecting via LDAP but just checking to see if anybody has the definitive word.
I did some basic testing using NW IDM SP2, Patch 2 on MSSQL on one server and Win 2008 Standard with AD on another. I was able to create simple jobs to create an OU and populate that ou with the contents of the HR_SAMPLE table that is included with NWIDM.
I can post the job if you want, it's nothing really spectacular.
Cheers,
Matt

Christopher,
I cannot think of a reason that they would be incompatible. As you mentioned, IDM uses a Generic LDAP connector to interface with AD/ADAM so there should not be a differnece.
I'm in the process of downloading a trial copy of Windows Server 2008 Standard and will report back on my testing.
