Hi Experts,
We are developing an intranet portal for us. In that portal, I am showing the contents as anonymous. I have a requirement to configure Remote File Server. I need to show this remote file server contents in the anonymous page (http://hostname:port/irj/portal/anonymous) itself.
For integrating Remote File Server, I have given my windows user credentials in the network path of the portal. I have limited access to some folders in that remote file server. The same access reflects to all the users while accessing the anonymous page. I don't want this.
Based on the windows user credentials of each user, the anonymous page should allow access to their respective folders in the Remote File Server.
Is it possible? If so, please help me.
Regards,
Venkatesh. K
Hi Venkatesh,
No, this is not possible. To use Windows permissions, you have to use the W2K security manager, for details and restrictions see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/ed/b334ea02a2704388d1d2fc3e4298ad/frameset.htm
However, the security manager checks the access based on the concrete logged in user within the portal. As long as this is anonymous, there cannot be any differentiation...
Hope it helps
Detlev
