Difference betn Maintaining values in CL20N and Classification

Hi ,

We are implementing Release strategy for PRs with classification and workflow.

While configuring the same , I found we can maintain values of the class characteristics thru CL20n or thru Classification button in spro.

I wanted to know the difference betn two ?

I wanted to maintain the values at spro level itself , do I need to make some extra settings for that

Both are Same Ie : Maintaining Charecterisitc Values Thru SPRO-Release Procedure-Release Strategies-Classification & CL20N.

No Need to Maintain Extra Settings for that. You can Maintian in Classification itself.

As said above, maintaining with CL20N, CL24N or SPRO is the same but it is better to do with First two as in production you need to open the client to do spro.

Both are the same either you can maintian the value thgourgh SPRO or CL20N.

But suppose in the production system you will not have SPRO open so in thiscase if you need to change the value of classification or to add new value you have to use CL20N.
