Dear all,

In my pricing procedure, we have two manual discounts -

1. Percentage discount

2. Value discount

While creating SO(Sales Order), percentage discount is showing in gray(non-editable) but value discount is showing as editable field.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the both discounts.

Thanks in advance

Eshwar

While creating SO(Sales Order), percentage discount is showing in gray(non-editable) but value discount is showing as editable field.

Check the 2 condition type in Transaction Code: V/06. The difference can be verified in field Manual entries, If it is 'D', it is not modifiable.

Hi.

In your pricing procedure, you have two manual discounts -

1. Percentage discount

It will be persentage on Material price like 10 %

2. Value discount

It will be fixed value like 200 INT

While creating SO(Sales Order), percentage discount is showing in gray(non-editable) but value discount is showing as editable field.

You can make manual entries for both in Sales order just do one setting in V/06

IN

CHANGES WHICH CAN BE MADE

For Mannual Entries -

Give NO LIMITATIONS

then u can chage values in SO.

May this will help....

Hi,

In the T-code V/06 for your condition type, in the section 'Changes which can be made' mark the indicators - 'Amount/percent' and 'value'. If this is activated then in the sales order screen, the values for these can be edited.

This should resolve.

Dear Eswar

The condition type depends on Changes which can be made TAB in V/06

pls check Manuval Entries If u reqir Manual entry has priority then it will come editble field, still u can change as a gray field by checking Delete and uncheck Amount/percent

Its fields which u select at Changes which can be made TAB

Hi,

% discount means, discount is offered with certain % of net or gross value of the product, depending on how the condition type is assigned in the pricing procedure. You tell the % as calculation type in the condition type under maintain types in SPRO-> SD-> basic functions -> Pricing -> pricing control ->Defome condition type

Value discount means you can offer discount in terms of values like $ 100 for the whole order value or product net value. Again you mention this in the access sequence and in pricing procedure.

It looks the % discount type is in gray because in the pricing condition type the field manual entries can carry a value "D - Manual entry not possible". Check the path as mentioned above.

For value condition type the same field may carry value as "C -manual entry has priority". That is why it is showing as editable field.
