I recently learned about admin edits for peronalising IVIEWS in ep 7.0 . can any one. please provide some help ful links

Post the question clearly!

If I am not wrong , you want to edit / cutomize ess iviews.

you can do it using homepage framework method.

NWDI is the best solution for customizing ESS.

James, I guess you are referring to customise the iviews of ESS through the Self Service Admin Role. Once you assign your self that role you could preview the iview and do a ctrl+ click and you will be able to customise the UI for the same.

However if you want to do any major modifications, as said in the earlier post, you would have to use NWDI.

Its content_admin_role.

no -- self service role isnt the same as content admin role.

you will find the role somewhere under this hierarchy

Portal-Content -> From SAP delivered Content -> srvconfig ->com.sap.pct.erp.srvconfig.ess.employee_self_service.

Hi

If you want to view Self-Service Admin (SSA), you will have to ask your server support /admin to deploy Self-Service Admin package in line with other BP SP.

Then you will be able to view (SSA) @

pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/specialist/com.sap.pct.erp.srvadmin.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.srvadmin.roles/com.sap.pct.erp.srvadmin.SRVAdministrator/com.sap.pct.erp.srvadmin.configuration/com.sap.pct.erp.srvadmin.srvconfigpage
