How do I create a group in the report at runtime with the CRXI R2 and VS2008?

We don't have any exact samples for creating groups.

First, have a look at this training document:

There is a tutorial there on How to Modify Groups that should help.

Hi,

If you want to design reports with groups then I would suggest you to post a query in design section of the Forum as it is monitored by design experts and they will be able to give you proper direction effectively.

You will find it under the Business Objects - Crystal Design section.

Hi Carlos,

Would like to inform you that CR XI R2 is not compatible with VS 2008.

VS 2008 is compatible with bundle version of CR i.e. 10.5(which comes with VS 2008) and with CR 2008 with Sp0 only.

And if in case the need is to create groups at run time than it is achieved by using RAS SDK's or through CR Server.

In case of CR XI R2, RAS SDK's supported only after SP2 or higher version of Service Pack is installed.
