After an Oracle 10.2.0.1 installation I installed a 10.2.0.3 Patch before starting the SAP installer. I don't know if this information is importend or not!

Thanks

Christian

Hi,

SAP supports 10.2.0.2 and 10.2.0.4 only.

Good point, I miss this.

SAP does not support 10.2.0.3

Nevertheless, the current issue is not caused by the patch set level, but bad configuration of the ops$ user.

Hi,

It looks like you have not configured the OPS$ connection and you changed the password.

SAP note 400241 (Problems with ops$ or sapr3 connect to Oracle) has a detailed explanation.

Create the ops$ user following one of this notes:

361641 - Creating OPS$ users on UNIX

50088 - Creating OPS$ users on Windows NT/Oracle
