transfer order sorting

If I want to sort transfer order items by different fields, how to

do?

Hi,

For sorting for picking, you can use the following path:

SPRO/Log. execution/WM/Actvities/Transfers/Processing Performance & TO split

You first create a Sort profile which you then assign to a Transfer order splitting profile. Within the sort profile, you can select fields on which the system will split up the TO. When completed both, you assign the split profile in Performance data control to the corresponding mvt's, source and destination storage bins.

In case you want to split the TO for putaway, you need to use a user exit.

Do you mean, if the transfer order is for picking, the transfer order will be sorted and splitted into several transfer orders?

if it's for putaway, the customizing do nothing?

Hi,

TO's will be created based on the split criteria. So in case you sort on Storage type, it will create a TO per storage type, etc.

Putaway -> user exit MWMTO012 Transfer order split. Customizing will not result in TO split for putaway.

You can use the exit for picking as well in case the standard customizing does not fulfill the requirements.
