FI Delta extraction. (Earn min 10 points)

Hi,

Currently I have repair full extraction for 0_FI *4 data source. Three years data is present in BW.

Now we want to do Delta for all data source.

Can any one tell me how to do Delta for these data sources?

Please give step by step procedure to do this (Both at R3 & BW level).

I will give min 10 pints for any reply.

Hi subodh,

Before starting, delete the data in the ODS, cube and in PSA.Need to delete the previous Initialization requests by choosing Scheduler menu through Initialization options for source system. Stop the postings in the R/3 side and lock the users. Then start new initialization with different selection criteria and can load into the ODS. From ODS to Cube for data mart load , first do Init load and afterwards all delta loads.

Hi,

are your datasources already capable for delta load?

If not, see note 328197 for how to make your datasources capable for delta load if you are on 4.6c.

Hi,

if u have 3 yrs of data very diffcult to load to bw by using of initilization option

can u follow these steps

load to dso:

1, repair full update of selection wise data like company code , monthly data

2,followed by initialization with out data transfer

3, followed by delta update.
