Download table from SM30?

Hi Techies,

I am require to put a backup of the table maintained in the T.CODE SM30.I just want to know the procedure to download the content from a table and put backup in the xi server itself.

Hi,

There are two ways, export all the contents of the table and store that file in the al11 application layer of XI

Or create another table and copy all the data into the new table.

But, why do you need a backup?

I think through SM30 we can't back up data we can export table objects. It is basis activity, better to check with basis team they can do easily.

Do one thing generate alias table and copy it
