Hi all,

In MRP4 view why and what to put in Individual/ collective?

Please tell me what to give in case of ROH, HALB and FERT individually.

Arif,

Since your scenario is ETO, you should use "1" - Individual requirement for FERT and HALB, if you also want to Plan/procure the Raw material based on the order then you need to assign "1" to ROH also. If you want the raw material to be pruchased without account assignment you can use "2".

Please tell me if it is blank which means 'individual and requirements' how the system will behave? Can you give some examples to explain?

Hy Arif,

This field decides the how Planing proposals are carried out.

If you select

Individual Requirement :- Then system will generate Planing Proposals for requirement wise.

For Example in case of ROH - there is 5 different dependent requirements are there.

For example 1 kg , 5 kg , 10 kg ,2 kg and 7.5 kg.

So in this case system will generate 5 different PR as per the req. qty.

Collective Requirement :- In this case system will club all the requirement in to one Planing Proposal.

For above mention example system will generate only one PR of (151027.5) = 25.5 kg.

Now Regarding selection it Lot depends on Which strategy you are used.

If it is Make to stock then Collective requirement (For all ROH / HALB / FERT) is desirable.While MTO you can choose any of it.

Because it depends on how you want to do settlement of your Order.whether it is on Sales order or on Material.

Scenario here is Engineer to order.strategy 21. MRP is run on WBS element.

settlement is done on material.

Dear,

stg 21 is planning with project.

Now you need to understand the following

1. Individual requirements - Requirement quantities of the dependent material are stated individually.

2. Collective requirements - Requirement quantities of the dependent material are grouped together

space - Individual and collective requirements - Requirement quantities of the dependent material are stated individually or collectvely

For FERT it should be 1

hence if the HALB and ROH, if the materials are specific to a project then you can enter 1 or space.

If HALB and ROH, if the materials are not specific to a project then you can enter 2.
