idoc to XI auth error

Former Member

Greetings.

Im testing XI interfaces on integration server using we19. I got configured two idocs, one is send without errors, but when Im sending the other type of idocs Im promted to put the password of the R3 server for the user XIAPPLUSER. After this on the sm58 I get the following error:

No RFC authorization for user XIAPPLUSER ( IDXN )

the system destination is the RFC connection to the XI server.

both idocs are configured on the same way on we20.

Please help me about possible causes and about how to test an idoc

Hi,

I think that idoc was not released, check once again Segment, Idoc and message type are released or not. Meanwhile check whether all mandatory segments are filled with value or not.

Meanwhile check partner profile & port at R3 end. and XI point of view check IDX1 & IDX2 ports

If above things are fine, it is authorization issue check with basis team.

Hii JeAn,

Check this Thread which deals with the Authorization Issue

And also check this how to check whether u have sufficient authorization to send the Idocs or not

To test the Authorization check

Double click the RFC Destination that u have created in XI towards R/3 in SM59

Select UtilitiesTestAuthorization test

By this you can come to know whether your user is having the propper authorization or not

Check SAP Note 837595

Check whether the User ID mentioned in RFC Destination ( SM59) has proper authorization for sending the IDOCs.

Your basis team will be able to help you for assigning the correct role

thanks for your reply

but It can be said that the RFC connection works.

When Im on the we19 and I send a cremas idoc It gets fine to XI, but when I put a matmas idoc and send it, it doesnt.

I guess it is an especific configuration, but I just cant figure it out.

I think that having an idoc working I just need to add it on we20, but still I get the auth error

Hi Jean Carlo,

Are you using the same port in both IDOCs?

Check the partner profiles in We20 and ports in WE21

Thanks for your help

I have the same ports on both idocs

The idoc dont seems to have a mandatory field

I get the message "IDoc sent to SAP system or external program"

After I press ok I get another window asking for the user/password, like when a RFC was configured with a bad user/password, wich is not the case (the rfc destination has a good and tested logon information).

on the sm58 I get:

No RFC authorization for user XIAPPLUSER ( IDXN ).

and the idoc doesnt reach XI

It was an authorization issue

I had to add RFC authorization to the XIAPPLUSER used on the rfc

...although I still dont know why it works for an idoc and not for another
