next operation start

I have two work center in a routing ,I want 2nd will be start after certain time after 1st operation start ,say, after 1 h

(but by defining overlap in 1st opration,it only consider the finish time ie finish at same time)

Hi,

In adition to the other replies, try by selecting "Continuous flow production" in Overlapping with Min. Overlap time= 1Hr or the Min. send-ahead qty.

Hi,

Double click on the Operation 0010 in CA02and system will take you inside the screen.

There you will find the Overlapping option.In the operation details tab page choose the operation 10 and set the required overlapping indicator and also enter the minimum send ahead quantity and the minimum overlap time.
