ITS - Assingning default user at Configuration

Hi,

We have specified the default user details in the

<b>Configuration -> global Services->Default R/3 User</b>

of ITS 6.20.

But even then when we are calling any service it is asking for Login id and pasword.

Pl. suggest...

Hi Mrutyunjay,

be carefull with default users. In general using default users is not recommended due to weak security. If you have a service that should run under anonymous user set user and password in the specific service file.

BTW, if you set the Default R/3 user using admin tool, make sure that the language is also set in the global service. If ~client, ~login, ~password is set in other service files it overwrite the global setting.
