Availability check

Hi gurus

While carrying out availability check in sales order after entering material in line item, In the popup screen of availability control,confirmed qty is showing as 0 and delivery proposal showing as not possible. moreover the material qty has not been confirmed in schedule lines tab page in the line itam.

any body can help me ,what is the reason for qty not been confirmed? , any conifiguration is missing in this?.

Can you please tell us that what is the date is showing in requested delivery date in sales order & what date in schedule line.

Hi,

Check the field safety stock in MRP2 view of the material master.

If a value is filled, then remove the value or maintain stock in the plant more than the safety stock using MB1C transaction code.

I have checked in MRP 2 view safty stock field is empty.

I will give you the Over view of MMBE

Could you make it out of this what might be a reason?

Hi,

Use transaction MD04, enter the material and plant details.

Then in the first line (row) you can see available quantity. It should be displayed with positive quantities. If the system displays negative value means, there is no sufficient quantity in stock. Here you can also see any other orders or deliveries which are reserved with any quantities.

The same can be checked using transaction code CO09. Here the cumulative available to promise quantity can be viewed in the last column of the display.

Check the details and let me know.

Go to material master MRP3 view and ensure that you have maintained 01 or 02 against Availability check.

I forget to ask previously whether for your schedule line category, have you checked the field "Availability" ?? Check in VOV6.

availability check,TOR,Productallocation.

Hi there,

In scheduled line catg, try by not selecting the Product Allocation field. It should work. Just have availability check & TOR.

Hi there,

When no stock is confirmed in schedule lines, it means that stock is not there in the plant.

In MB1C, post the stock & then re-do availability check. It will propose the delivery scheduling & display confimed quantity in schedule lines.

Dear pavan

What you have seen is correct. It is bcoz stock is not available to confirm in sale order for that material.

If you are trying to test in development server, create some stock in MB1C with 561 movement type and save. Now go to VA02, input the sale order and execute. There go to schedule line tab and do availability check.
