Is it possible to change a system from being integrated to being distributed?
After upgrading to Oracle 10g one of our servers is now short of resources and we would like to move the database onto a separate server.

Only possible way is to come up with a newly installed distributed system and have a system copy of the integrated system ( Old ). I think this is the only possible available safe option
