Dear All Gurs

I am trying to change/display the po, however when i enter the tcod me22n/ me23n the po type and po number fields are getting grayed out. How to resolve this issue.

Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

You cannot Change Po Doc Type, Vendor & PO number Thru ME22N / ME23N Once PO is created.

Hi,

When PO is created with ME21N, then you will get the PO number for a particular Document type.

So in ME22N these 2 fields will be greyed out, you cann't change the PO number & PO doc type.

Because number range for PO is defined for a particular PO doc type.

Thats why system will not allow you to change any PO doc type & number once it is created.

hope you understand.

This is not any Authorizatation issue, standard SAP practice.

Dear,

Sorry, You want to execute PO change - execute ME22N / ME23N and press Shift + F5 (other document) and enter the respective document number to display or change.

u need to change the po or u need to see other po

to change po go to me22n and press F7

to see other po go to me22n or me23n press SHIFT +F5

here u can see other po

Please Ensure you are Having Authorization for ME22N / ME23N and the Fields are not set to Display in Customizing.

Later ME22N is for Change Purchase Order & ME23N is for Display.

Go to ME23N and Click on Change Icon / F7 and Check Once.

Everything is fine in customizing and the fields are set to optional, any other solution.
