Hi,
If I created a transaction iView in portal, for the user PC does it need the installation of SAP to run the call transaction iView in portal?
Thanks!
SAP GUI installation in your user's PC is not required. Because, a transaction iView will be created using "ITS" which is Internet Transaction Server. So, it is equal to logging in your "SAP GUI" through Internet browser.

Thanks Kavitha. A further question, the portal user who call the transaction through the iView, is he required to be the user of SAP?
Thanks!

Yes, definitely the portal users should have access to SAP and also that particular transaction you are specifying in your iView.
But, if you are not using logon tickets, and if you are using "user mapping" for the system, then only for that particular user mapped user, SAP and transaction access is required. In this case, its not required that all your portal users need SAP access since the system has a particular user mapping.
Also, please note that there are three types of transactional iViews that you can create from portal. SAP GUI for HTML (WebGui), SAP GUI for Java (JavaGui) or SAP GUI for Windows (WinGui).
My answer posted previously is for SAP GUI for HTML (WebGui). SAP GUI for Windows (WinGui) require SAP GUI installed in the user's computer.
