Creation of infotype having Subtype

Hi ,

Please tell me link or document regarding creation of infotype having subtype .

i know how to create simpe infotype . But not created any infotype having subtype.

Thanks for reply .

In pa30 i am getting subtyp 0001. 0002, 003, 0004 .

Field in infotype are zsubty, zhrs14 , zhrs12 , zhrs16 , zhrs0t .

Now when user click 0001 subty then only zhrs12 , zhrs14 display

when user clcik 0002 subty then only zhrs16 , zhrs14 will display.

when subty 0003 then zhrs16 , zhrs0t

when subty 0004 then zhrs0t .

How to control this ?

Hi ,

Actually in transaction PE03 i am assiging screen control but when in pa30

if entering subtyp 0001, 0002, 0003 for all same selection parameter(same screen) is coming .

Not able to define diff selection parameters for diff subtyp.

So Any material which show how to create infotype having subtyp .

Hi

try this...

Goto PM01 and enter Infotype: xxxx eg: 9495

Make sure that first field component type is SUBTY

Like: zzstype SUBTY Char 4 Subtype

Now click on 'ALL' button.

Creation of Subtype:

Goto initial scren PM01.

In menu tool bar, goto -

---

Subtype Characteristics click on enter.

Now click on new entries,

subtype name

01 Annual shares

02 special premium shares

click on save.

Note: All subtypes are stored in T591A table

Now assigning subtypes to infotype.

now click on 'Technical Attributes' in PM01 screen

change, select ur custom infotype'xxxx' and click on 'details' on application tool bar.

subtype field: zzstype

stype table: T591A

stype text table: T591S

stype const table: T591A

Now click on 'SAVE'.

Now check ur infotype with subtype.

It is as simple as creating normal infotype.

goto PM01 and create as normal infotype only.

But make sure that the first field of this infotype is subtype.

and maintain infotype characteristics as usual along with subtype characteristics.

Try and reply if u face any problems during this.
