hi, is the report painter transportable? pls advise if yes or no. thanks.

Hi,

As already mentioned here - yes. Though, it's more practical to export a report to a ASCII file (GR37) and then import it in the target system (GR38).

If a report is created in the production system, can the same be transported to development and then create a Tcode in Se93?

What would be the procedure?

Hi,

You will be able to export it and import in DEV. Then, create a transaction based on the report in the transport. Keep in mind, that the program name generated by the report is dynamic, therefore it's essential to build transaction directly on areport and not on program name.

Hi Denz

Goto TCode GCTR and select the radio button of your requirement then enter your paramters . Then select Execute button. There you will get the Request Number.

Hi,

Check T Code GCTR. It will allow you to transport the report.
