Field Validation for MIGO

Dear Experts,

My client wants to add a validetion to a field in the MIGO transaction. During the GR for PO the field "Goods Recipient" should take only numeric values. If any alphaneumeric values are being given then the system should provide an error msg. The field Good Recipient is a Standard field decleared as CHAR

Feild Name : WEMPF

Please suggest wht should I do. If any Exits required then please let me know how to apply that.

i tried that in my system with numericals 123 in the goods receipant column, it was accepting please once again check up

It will work both numeric & alppha also

Hi,

I doubt it will be possible as its a SAP standard table, and for any changes you will require an Access Key from SAP..

Its not recommened to change the standards.

You could think of configuring Reasons for Movement (GRUND) and resolving your issue
