How to extract data flat file to ODS

Hi Experts,

I am new to BI 7.0. I know BW 3.5. But here I want navigation steps about Flatfile to ODS1, ODS1 to ODS2 and ODS2 to cube in BI 7.0.

Hi,

This has been discussed many times in this forum please search before posting,

From flatfile

1) create ods

2) make sure that your file is ready

3) create data source

4) create transformations

5) create dtp

6) create infopackage.

run you info package which gets data upto PSA, then run your DTP which feeds data to ODS from PSA.

ODS1 to ODS2

1) make sure that your source and target are ready

2) create transformations for the ODS2 by giving data source name as ODS1

3) create Infopackage and run info package to get data upto PSA

4) create DTP and run DTP to feed data into ODS2

ODS to CUBE

Same as ODS1 to ODS2.
