Landscape with different OS

Hi,

I have a spare AIX server which I would like to set up as "batch" server and connect this to an existing landscape consisting of purely HP-UX servers (1 DBCI & 2 app servers).

Is this advisable? What are the potential problems that I should look out for?

I can't see any issues.... simply it will work as a normal dialog instance but the /sapmnt/<sid>/exe (kernel mount) will not be shared as they are different platforms... read the installation guide under heterogeneous environments.
