Hi,
What are the different types of payload.pls help me with examples.I am bit confused with the payload explanations in various books.

Payload is the data , Formats of the payload may be different. Mostly the payload is quite called in SOAP messages.

Payload is nothing but the data that has to be forwarded by a system accessor or was received by a system accessor. XI takes care of creating the payload from ur message, so no need to worry about it. If u r talking about the payload in case of UDF or java mapping, u can refer the following links:-

Payload is the input that you provide to the XI. That is the simplest explanation i guess for it. It can be XML, Text format or PDF file, IDOC etc.
