PO conversions with Version management

Hello Experts,

We are in the process of converting legacy POs where we have turned on the version management for POs(ECC 5.0).

We are using LSMW tool to generate idocs for posting/creating the POs.

When POs are created, the PO are set with the same version # as in legacy. But the current version is not set to "close" so we are not able to perform the follow on activities.

We developed a custom program to close the version in PO. After running the program, when we open the PO and check it, the screen shows the version is closed, but the EKKO-PROCSTAT field is not getting updated with the value "05" in order to enable the follow on activities like GR and IR etc.

Also this EKKO-PROSTAT field is not available for mass maintenance.

Can you please help us here to overcome this issue.

HI,

Deactivate the release procedure and try to create PO's first and then you can release them manually.

Make sure Po is not under the release procedure.
