Background Jobs in PP/DS

Hi,

If any one have information on background jobs in PP/DS, please share.

I am looking for background jobs in APO PP/DS specifically apert from Planning and Scheduling, i.e i am looking for maintenance jobs in PP/DS like Delete Logs etc........

Also i want to check procedure if we can transport PP/DS jobs from one system to Other

How can we Transport background jobs created with SM36 from one system to other.

Hi Pankaj,

You can not transport Batch schedules , you need to create is again in different system/Client.

Hi Pankaj,

Please schedule below job in background for different log:

1. Program RSTBPDEL that deletes off old entries from DBTABLOG.

2. SBAL_DELETE to delete SLG1 log

3. /SAPAPO/TS_BATCH_LOGFILE (/SAPAPO/MC8K)

To delete all macro related batch job logs, also include the batch job log for the forecasting run.

4. /SAPAPO/SAPRRPLOG_DELETE

to delete Planning log
