Stock Transfport Order Material Movement Question

Hello All,

Here is the situation that I am facing... We have configured stock transport order scenario (moving from location A to location B) with delivery... All parts of the setup including auto packaging are working. The only issue is that material that is being transported has a BOM attached to it. In source storage location A there is only stock for a child part and no stock for the parent. We are looking for a way of creating material movements (GI and GR) for the child parts of the material instead of moving parent part...

Can somebody provide a solution?

P.S. We have a workaround of backflushing (MFBF) parent part to the location A, which depletes child part in that location and generates stock in that location for the parent part. From that point on we can deal with the parent part.

you can configure the child part as stock transfer in materal master than you can do it.

the child part needs to be setup for stock transfer in MRP2 view. as special procurement key is stock transfer

once you do this setting than you can do the transfer.
