image in BO XI

someone has worked with pictures in Bo?? field type BLOB??

i would like in my consultations plankton an object of type image to display them atten

Hi

I am really afraid to say that BLOB's are not supported in BO XI . This was confirmed when I did some testings at my end.

I inserted a jpeg image in to SQL Server Database and then tried to view the same object in Universe designer. The object is created, but when we create a report with this object, we only see hexadecimal code in the report for that object.

BLOB's are only supported with Crystal Reports.

Since CR10, images can be stored in the repository (BOE/CR Server system database) and referenced on the report - such as logos, inventory product pictures. Images can be added to the repository from CR directly.

Hi,

BLOB's are not supported even in BOXIR3. I have tested this with SQL Server 2005 database and Oracle 9i.
