Error message V1599

I got this message V1599 - The system could not determine for the item 00010.

The item 00010 has plant 1000and is assigned to company 1000 for which the business area is required. This is caused by incomplete setting in the Customizing.

I need the steps to correct this problem.

goto SPRO--->SALES AND DISTRIBUTION--->BASIC FUNCTIONS--

THEN SELECT -

> DEFINE RULES BY SALES AREA.

SELECT U R SALES AREA AND SPECIFY 1 or 2

---> IF THE RULE IS 1 SELECT THE PATH AND ASSIGN BUSINESS AREA TO PLANT & DIVISION.

-

---

> IF THE RULE IS 2 SELECT THE PATH AND ASSIGN BUSINESS AREA BY SALES AREA.

I did that but still receiving the same error.Please help.

Hi

The same error i also got recently

The soln is the same settings has be done in img-> enterprise structur-> assignment->sales and distribution-->Business area account assignment

The same controls to be given there also

Dear Ashish

Have you tried to create a fresh sale order after assigning the Business Area ?? You should not try in the existing sale order.
