Hi Friends,
In delivery there are 2 materials one is main material and other one is packing material.
Main material is relevant for Billing if you see in the item category and the Packing material is not relevant for billing.Whether because of this Packing material will appear in the billing document or not.
Packing Material is there only in the delivery so whether we have to check the item category VOV7 or 0VLP for the material to appear in the billing document.
If the Packing material is not appearing in the invoice what will be the reason ?
Dear Kannan,
Normally packing material will not appear in the billing document due to itemcategory settings.
In the packing material item category there will be setting not relevant for billing.
Please go to VOV7 transaction select your packing material itemcategory go into the details here you will find the field Billing Relevance based on this field settings that item will not appear in the billing document.
I hope it will help you,
Regards,
Murali.

hi
there r two types of packaging material
1)normal
2)returnable packaging material
for first case if u wanna bill packaging material separately u can bill and can maintain those setting in item category..
for 2nd case the customer is going to return the packaging so u don't bill them initially but if customer is not able to return the packaging material then u can bill them also.
regards
ankit
