Source Determination Issue

Hi Gurus,

Am having a strange behaviour here as i have a released contract created for a material. This contract is referenced in the material source list as a fixed source of procurement. Even though when i run ME57 automatic assignment then the contract is not detected.

I was trying this earlier without source list before just with inforecords and it works fine but if create a contract they aren't taken into account...

Any clue of the problem can be ?

To determine the contract in the ME56 transction, make sure the following steps

- contract created is released or not?

- in the source list the contract number and line item number of contract is maintained

-The contract should be a fixed in the source list.

Check whether validity period of source list and Contract are mismatched i.e. Contract Validity is within the Source List Validity.
