Hi,

In Pricing Procedure it is quite common that to have common conditon types.

Different types of discounts if we include these discounts in pricing procedure then customer will receive all these discounts. So that the total discount value become higher than the actual price.

So consequently businees incurs loss.So to avoid this kind of situation we can use the option that is condition exclusion group s by which we can offer best condition among the condition types to the customer.

hi,

conditon Exclution means:

system can use condition exclusion to select the best price or discount in six different ways:

Selecting the best condition record of a particular condition type from within one exclusion group

Selecting the most unsuitable condition from within one exclusion group

Selecting the best condition record for a condition type

Selecting the most unsuitable condition record for a condition type

Selecting the best conditions from different exclusion groups

Excluding all condition types in the second exclusion group if a particular condition type in the first exclusion group exists in the document

sridhar

Hi there,

Consider that you have 3 kinds of discounts K004 material discount, K005 customer material discount & K007 customer discount in your pricing procedure.

When all teh 3 discounts apply at one time in your pricing the customer mayend up getting more discount than he is eligible.

To avoid that situation, you put all the 3 condition types into 1 exclusion group. In the procedure you will assign the rule sothat the system picks up the best discount or least discount as per your requirement.

You then assign the exclusion procedure to your pricing procedure. So when the system finds all the 3 discounts, it willjust apply 1 as per the rule you defined.

Hello,

An exclusion group is a list of condition types, they are defined in customising. You also assign exclusion groups to a pricing procedure and to determine how the condition exclusion is to be carried out .

Depending on how you configure exclusion groups in the pricing procedure, the system can use condition exclusion to select the best price or discount in six different ways.

--> Selecting the best condition record of a particular condition type from within one exclusion group

--> Selecting the most unsuitable condition from within one exclusion group

--> Selecting the best condition record for a condition type

--> Selecting the most unsuitable condition record for a condition type

--> Selecting the best conditions from different exclusion groups

--> Excluding all condition types in the second exclusion group if a particular condition type in the first exclusion group exists in the document.
