Java null point exception error

Hi all,

I have installed BOXIR2 with SP2 and Java 1.4 (default with installation) and it gives a strange pop up after logging into the infoview with a message

internal error. java.null.pointerexception error

i can say ok on this error and this vanishes but this comes very irregularly with all the client machines on IE and its irritating even though it dosent hamper my tasks and all of BO works very well

But just curious if any one has encountered something like this before...

Is the java.lang.NullPointerException message within the InfoView panel, or is it a dialog box pop-up?

If it's in the InfoView panel, is there a stack trace below the message?

Are you using a load balancer? If so are persistent sessions enabled?

If not then maybe a redeploy or check the java logs (i.e. businessobjects\tomcat\logs)
