Portal Activity Reports - Disconnect Between Page hits and iView hits

When I add a page and the iviews in that page to a portal activity report I see seemingly incongruous numbers. For instance, I have a page called u2018my tasksu2019 with 2 iviews in it, the UWL and a url iview displaying static html info. Looking at the daily activity for the page and iviews I see the page with 18 hits, yet the uwl has 37 hits and the url iview has 32 hits. Why and how are these numbers different? Weu2019re running NW2004s SP13.

Hello Cris,

When isolation level of the iView on Page is URL, then the hits on iView contains the hits on Page. Therefore the number of iView hits will be always bigger then Page hits. When isolation level is embedded the iView and Page hits should be equal.
